About

I live in Seattle, a city known for its rainy, gloomy weather. I recently rediscovered my love of singing and skiing with my son, which has made the winters fly by. During the pandemic, my family adopted two kittens, Burton and Munchkin, whose playful antics on my cat cafe site sparked my interest in coding.

I'm a user-focused, quality-driven problem solver, eager to collaborate on team projects and develop larger applications. My short-term goal is to sharpen my skills and master JavaScript. In the long run, I aspire to design, build, and maintain innovative full-stack applications that enhance everyday life.

Bookwarm

Developed Google Firebase structure for book journal app and tested how Google Authentication works. Implemented Firestore users collection and booksCollection to store book data for each user. Added Modal for Add/Edit components, and implemented rating and loading components.

MyJob-listing

Manipulated job data using Frontendmentor’s design and JSON data. Implemented Context hook for dynamic skill filtering. Developed responsiveness for desktop and mobile views.

Catcafe-Next

The landing page has carousel component. Originally written in class component. Replaced with hooks then converted to next.js. Used formik and validation for contact page. Removed react-router-dom and added Nav to reactstrap component.

Nucamp site

Campsite reservations site for Web and mobile versions, which were build during NuCamp bootcamp. Users can login, post comments and leave ratings, using CRUD operations.
